Day 1
Welcome to Adelaide!!
People Choice Classic: 50km
On arrival into Adelaide Airport, you will be greeted and transferred by to our 5-star accommodation in the Adelaide CBD. In the afternoon, will meet outside the hotel for our first group ride to test the bikes, this will be a short, optional ride.
This evening is the annual People’s Choice Classic, a criterium in the heart of Adelaide. We will meet in the hotel foyer for those wishing to walk into the city and watch the race as a group. After the race, make your own way back to the hotel which is a short walk down the popular Rundle Street – a vibrant atmosphere where you might like to stop for a drink or dinner.

Day 2
Barossa Valley & Winery Lunch
Barossa Valley
With the pros having a rest day before the start of the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under, we will enjoy a day in the Barossa Valley. Following our morning ride, we will be joined by our spectating guests in the Barossa Valley for a gourmet lunch, winery tour and wine tastings.
All guests will be transferred back to our hotel late afternoon to enjoy the Tourrific Prospect festivities in the city.

Day 3
Stage One
Stage One: North Adelaide – Port Adelaide
After a leisurely breakfast, we will depart on our bikes to follow parts of the Stage 1 course, taking in the beautiful areas surrounding the city. We will stop at our roadside location to enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and refreshments before we see the peloton pass for the first time.
Spectating guests enjoy a relaxed morning before being transferred by bus to meet the riding guests in Houghton for lunch where the peloton will pass by our gourmet roadside picnic three times!
In the afternoon, we will transfer/ride back to the hotel and you will have the evening at your leisure.

Day 4
KOM
Stage Two: Norwood – Angaston
Take the opportunity to enjoy a sleep in this morning, as the start line is located just 2.6kms from our hotel in Norwood. Following the excitement of the stage depart we will set off on our bikes, riding along the official race route to the KOM on Checkers Hill.
If not riding, following the ride depart we will jump in the vans to our vantage spot on course where we will see the peloton pass by. After some refreshments we will head back to the City of Adelaide Tour Village where you can soak up the festival atmosphere and watch the exciting Stage Two finish.
This evening will be at your leisure.

Day 5
Finishing Loop
Stage Three: Lobethal – Uraidla
After a leisurely breakfast, we will depart on our bikes to follow parts of the Stage 3 course, taking in the beautiful areas surrounding the city. Today’s ride will include a lap of the finishing loop, which the Pros will completed seven times later today.
Following our ride we will stop at a road side location to enjoy a picnic lunch before we see the peloton pass for the first time. Spectating guests will be transferred by bus to meet the riding guests in Uraidla for lunch where the peloton will pass by our gourmet roadside picnic seven times.
This evening, you will be an exclusive guest at the annual Mummu Cycling private cocktail party hosted by Stuart O’Grady (and special guests) at Stuart’s function space Velo Precinct. An event not to be missed!

Day 6
Corkscrew Picnic
Stage Four: Unley – Campbelltown
This morning after breakfast, we will depart on our bikes, taking in the beautiful areas surrounding the city to the Stage 4 depart in Unley, just a stones throw from the CDB.
Following the stage start riders will set off on their course through the Adelaide Hills, finishing on the infamous corkscrew climb (9%), located just 10kms from the finish line.
For spectating guests, following the excitement of the stage depart you will be transferred by bus to meet the riding guests for lunch. Along the way we will stop off to cheer the peloton before meeting up on the iconic corkscrew climb where we will enjoy a picnic lunch and cheer on the pros!
In the afternoon, we will transfer/ride back to the hotel and you will have the evening at your leisure.

Day 7
Challenge Tour
Stage Five: Glenelg – Strathalbyn
The Santos Tour Down Under’s fifth stage and will host both the UCI WorldTour peloton and amateur cyclists alike as the host stage of the 2019 Challenge Tour.
The stage – to be held on a Saturday for the first time – will take riders from Glenelg to Strathalbyn via a host of popular towns along the Fleurieu Peninsula.
We will transfer you to the starting line in time for your chosen distance and will be there at the finish to escort you back to our hotel to cool down and freshen up.
If not riding, take the opportunity to enjoy the festivities of the Stage 5 departure before heading to McLaren Vale for a gourmet lunch and winery tour. Full and slightly tipsy, we will transfer you back to Adelaide to explore the city by night.

Day 8
Willunga Hill Finale
Stage Six: McLaren Vale – Willunga Hill
In a thrilling twist, the 2019 edition of the Santos Tour Down Under will conclude on top of the iconic Willunga Hill. Let us assure you this is a stage not to be missed!! Our riding guests will join the pilgrimage from the city to Willunga to challenge the climb ourselves before we take our place in private hospitality.
After breakfast in Adelaide we will make our way by bike or private transfer to Penny’s Hill Cellars near Willunga to experience the Grand Finale of the Tour Down Under up close. Enjoy a three course lunch with stunning SA wines in the perfect location of the course. Situated near the base of the climb, we will see the peloton pass no less than five times. Our private hospitality includes live race viewing, TVs, air conditioning and all the atmosphere of the Queens Stage.
Mummu Cycling will transfer you back to the airport for your flight home after an amazing tour.
