Covid-19 Update

2020 has been and continues to be an immensely challenging year for everyone with the devastating effects of  Covid-19 worldwide, which has now put a significant dint in the economy and put travel plans on hold.

With the situation steadily improving, there is great hope and positivity for the near future. We’re building on this, committed to planning ahead and continuing to do what we’re passionate about, designing amazing cycling experiences!

Here is our latest update on the Covid-19 situation and our new policies…


In response to the uncertainty surrounding global travel during the Covid-19 outbreak, we have now updated our booking policy to ensure that all new bookings made on our 2020 or 2021 tours, including Tour de France tours will be risk-free and fully refundable in the event that the race does not run or clients are restricted in their travels.


Due to the unprecedented effects the virus has had globally, we have made the difficult, yet necessary decision to postpone all of our global 2020 tours; including Paris-Nice, the Spring Classics, the Giro d’Italia , the Tour de France and La Vuelta. In postponing, we have been proud to have offered all booked clients a full credit of 100% of their funds paid to any tour offered by Mummu Cycling up until 31 December 2021.

We are now fully focussed on our 2020 Australian Experience domestic tours and events later year and 100% committed to designing our complete line-up of 2021 experiences that we are optimistic will go ahead in full force. 2021 tour dates will be updated in due course per event, following offical date release. Itineraries will follow, commencing their route reveals.


All of our 2021 tours now provide the option to place a 100% risk-free deposit that will secure your place on the given tour and ensure you receive all trip announcements prior to going live on our website and social channels.

We strongly recommend this option given the absence of most of our tours this season and many of our 2020 guests transferring their bookings through to 2021.


Please be reassured that your health and safety on tour will be our highest priority when our trips commence. We have implemented increased hygiene protocols on all tours including; increased sanitisation of equipment and transport vehicles (inside and outside), sufficient supply of disposable gloves and hand sanitiser for each client, reduced food handling by our team, confirmation of strict hygiene levels at all venues accessed during each trip and reduced human contact through riding and bike handling.


We are excited to be bringing our global pro experiences home to Australia in support of the communities burnt in the 2019/20 Australian Bushfires and the additional impacts Covid-19 has had countrywide. Australia was on fire with 25 million Acres of the East Coast ravaged by bushfires, closely followed with the global pandemic, which has now put a dint in the economy and travel plans.

To give back to our communities that need it most, we’ve our current focus is on our new Australian Experience series, built around the goal of ‘ride local, spend local’ to support Australia on its road to recovery.

To add this this, we also have now have  L’Étape Australia by Tour de France (November 2020) experiences and our Cobbled Classics with Stuart O’Grady 2021 LIVE and on sale, with Amy’s Gran Fondo  (7-8 November) to come. Watch this space!
