Pro Team Meet + Greet

Welcome to the Alps! We hope you’re primed and ready to join us on the ultimate Tour de France insiders experience…

This morning, our Mummu Cycling team will meet you at Geneva airport before transferring you to our accommodation in Aix Les Bains, right in the heart of the glorious Alps.

Here, take some time to check in and settle. Our team will then assist with unpacking and setting up bikes ahead of your warm-up ride led out by tour host, former pro cycling legend, Stuart O’Grady.

This afternoon, Stuey will guide you on a scenic ride around the stunning surrounding roads of Aix Les Bains on route to a select Pro Team’s hotel to enjoy an exclusive ‘Meet + Greet’, prearranged by Stuart through his many connections within the pro cycling world.

Here will mark an incredible opportunity to meet the team and staff on the Tour de France rest day, gathering some fantastic insight into the race and the team operations. You’ll chat with sport directors, team mechanics and the riders, if they’re not too leg weary with 15 race days already in the legs! Be sure to pack your camera and have your questions ready.

We will then transfer back to our hotel, where you’ll have time to freshen up and unwind before regathering for our welcome group dinner. Cheers to the many Tour de France adventures that lie ahead!

Pro Team Meet + Greet

July 13, 2020

Welcome to the Alps! We hope you’re primed and ready to join us on the ultimate Tour de France insiders experience…

This morning, our Mummu Cycling team will meet you at Geneva airport before transferring you to our accommodation in Aix Les Bains, right in the heart of the glorious Alps. Here, take some time to check in, settle and explore our charming surroundings.

This afternoon, we’ll be setting out to a Pro Team’s hotel to enjoy an exclusive ‘Meet + Greet’, prearranged by Stuart through his many connections within the pro cycling world.

Here will mark an incredible opportunity to meet the team and staff on the Tour de France rest day, gathering some fantastic insight into the race and the team operations. You’ll chat with sport directors, team mechanics and the riders, if they’re not too leg weary with 15 race days already in the legs! Be sure to pack your camera and have your questions ready.

Day 2

Exclusive Ride Depart along the Stage 16 Race Route!

July 14, 2020 / Difficulty
/ Distance 68km / 1700m

Enjoy a good breakfast this morning – today is going to be action-packed as we take our first real step into the Tour de France inner sanctum for Stage 16!

Following breakfast, we will set out to the Start in La Tour-du-Pin where you will be enjoying the truly surreal, ‘Ride Depart’ experience, an exclusive asset we are able to deliver as an Official Tour de France Tour Operator.

Here, you will ride off the stage start line along the race route, within the Tour de France race caravan and just hours ahead of the pros themselves! All on closed roads, you’ll absolutely be every other fans envy and will assuredly be feeling pretty special as you witness the incredible feeling of being applauded and cheered for by excited fans lining the streets in excited anticipation for the stage to come.

We will ride up to 68km along the course and tackle the incredibly testing slopes of the Col de Porte ascent that climbs to over 1300m while at it!  Following a valiant effort, we’ll set up roadside for a picnic lunch while we await the pros to blitz by and show us how it’s done. Prepare to get your cheer on in full force!

Concluding some live stage viewing and an epic ride adventure, we will transfer back to Aix Les Bains where the evening will be yours to explore or relax and unwind after a solid day out.

Exclusive Ride Depart along the Stage 16 Race Route!

July 14, 2020

Enjoy a good breakfast this morning – today is going to be action-packed as we take our first real step into the Tour de France inner sanctum for Stage 16.

Following breakfast, we will set out to the Stage Start in La Tour-du-Pin where you will enjoy the stage start festivities and lap up the buzzing atmosphere before transferring to our mid-stage race viewing location. Here, you’ll reconnect with our riding contingent and enjoy a picnic lunch while awaiting the pros to blitz by and show us how it’s done. Prepare to get your cheer on in full force!

Concluding some thrilling live stage viewing, we will transfer back to Aix Les Bains where the evening will be yours to explore or relax and unwind after a big day out.

Day 3

See the Queen Stage LIVE up Col de la Loze!

July 15, 2020 / Difficulty
/ Distance 45km / 2300m

This morning, enjoy a slightly more relaxed start following yesterday’s massive effort.

After a later breakfast, we will set out in hot pursuit of the brutally demanding Col de la Loze ascent, that marks today’s Stage 17 summit finish for 2020’s Queen Stage, appearing for the first-time in Tour de France history. The lengthy, monster of a climb, rises up to a sky-high 2304m, over 22.5km and reaches heartbreaking peaks of 20%…it will certainly be no easy feat and a true test for the legs, yet as the finishing ascent for today’s Tour de France Queen Stage, expect nothing less than sensational, atmospheric, mountain madness. Get ready to take it all in, every pedal stroke. If that’s not motivation enough…!

Concluding a credible effort, take some time to appreciate the stunning Alpine views, before retreating to our roadside setup for the day where we’ll be excitedly awaiting the mountain-stage action to come. A picnic lunch and beverages will be on hand to refuel the engines ahead of a busy afternoon cheering and getting amongst the lively atmosphere.

Following what we expect will be an incredibly thrilling, potentially race-deciding fight for Stage 17 honours, we will transfer back to the hotel where this evening will be at your leisure.

See the Queen Stage LIVE up Col de la Loze!

July 15, 2020

This morning, enjoy a relaxed start to the day.

Following breakfast, we will then transfer to the Col de la Loze to witness the thrill of today’s Stage 17 Queen Stage. The incredibly daring ascent climbs up to a sky-high 2304m and marks todays summit finish – expect nothing less than sensational, atmospheric, mountain madness. Get ready to take it all in and enjoy the stunning Alpine views while you’re at it!

We’ll then setup roadside for the day where we’ll be excitedly awaiting the mountain-stage action to come. A picnic lunch and beverages will be on hand to fuel up ahead of a busy afternoon cheering and getting amongst the lively atmosphere.

Following what we expect will be an incredibly thrilling, potentially race-deciding fight for Stage 17 honours, we will transfer back to the hotel where this evening will be at your leisure.

Stage 18 VIP Relais Etape Hospitality

Today, we will experience Tour de France race hospitality at its best!

Following breakfast, we will transfer via vehicles to our ride starting point for the day along the Stage 18 race route from Meribel to La Roche-dur-Foron. You will then ride approximately 50km along the official race course to our spectating location at the Relais Etape, located mid-stage.

The Relais Etape is an exclusive hospitality experience, offering a real day of ‘special treatment’ that will have you sitting down to a divine three course long-lunch, paired with unlimited delicious local French wine, while watching the Stage 18 action from big screen entertainment, amidst some star-studded company, in the form of past Tour de France contenders.

As the mood continues to rise, you’ll soon see the peloton fly by seemingly effortlessly, where you’ll by then be glowing with excitement, chanting support at your favourite riders and embracing the lively atmosphere that surrounds.

Stage 18 VIP Relais Etape Hospitality

Today, we will experience Tour de France race hospitality at its best for Stage 18 from Meribel to La Roche-dur-Foron!

Day 5

See the Stage 19 Finish!

July 17, 2020 / Difficulty
/ Distance 50km / 1,000m

Today’s Stage 19 is one for the fast men as the race travels from Bourge-en-Bresse to Champagnole along an undulating route that will no doubt have the peloton arriving to the finish exhausted, yet with lead-out’s at full speed and shoulders out, marking one of the final opportunities for the sprinters to claim stage victory! We’ll be there to witness the sheer speed and thrill of it all as today we set out for the finish…

Following breakfast and check-out, we will transfer to our ride start located along the Stage 19 race route. We will then ride the final run into the finish, led out by Stuey who will no doubt be sharing a story or two from his ‘sprinter  days’ at the Tour de France.

You will now have the exclusive opportunity to pass the barriers at the Flamme Rouge (final km) to ride the closing km of the stage and cross the official finish line ahead of the race! This is an incredible experience and one that will absolutely have you up on Cloud 9 as you take in the sensational finish atmosphere, enjoying applause and ‘allez’s from excited fans as you go. To top, you will then be able to retreat to the winners podium, where you’ll have your photo taken, arm’s sky-high if you desire!

We will then change and head into official Tour de France finish line hospitality at the Izoard where you will await the predicted sprint finale, while enjoying French canapés and unlimited beverages…before toasting with champagne to the stage winner!

Concluding the excitement of the finish, we will transfer to our new hotel in Besancon and enjoy a group dinner on arrival.

See the Stage 19 Finish!

We will then step into official Tour de France finish line hospitality at the Izoard where you will await the predicted sprint finale, while enjoying French canapés and unlimited beverages…before toasting with champagne to the stage winner!

Concluding the excitement of the finish, we will transfer to our new hotel in Besancon and enjoy a group dinner on arrival.

See the penultimate Stage Time Trial start + VIP Departure Village access

Today is the penultimate stage of the Tour de France and an incredibly challenging race against the clock lies ahead as the pros face an arduous 36km Individual Time Trial that concludes up the tedious La Planche des Belles Filles ascent.

This morning, following breakfast, we will be riding to the Stage Start in Lure to enjoy the Start-line festivities, the penultimate stage atmosphere and unique Time Trial preparation routines.

Today, you will have exclusive access into the official Departure Village and rider pre-race zone. Here, you can relax over coffee and local delicacies, while watching the riders sign on for the stage within close proximity. You’ll then have VIP access to the team bus area, where contenders will be anxiously warming up and avidly preparing for the deciding TT ahead.  A unique opportunity that will allow you to see up-close, all the pre-race rituals, catch a glimpse of the latest high-tech, advanced equipment on display and if you’re lucky, get your photo with some of the sports biggest names. If you follow tour host, Stuart O’Grady’s path, it’s almost inevitable…

We will then see the biggest names in the sport roll down the ramp for their final demanding effort of this year’s Tour de France. Who will it be?!

Following what we expect will be a tight, potentially game-changing time trial, we will return to Bescanon. Our team will then assist you with packing bikes up ahead of tomorrow’s departure.

This evening, we will enjoy a final group farewell dinner and toast to what we expect will have been an epic week in the Alps!
