Experience the very best of the race from exclusive hospitality, including; a Stage start, a ride off the Stage start line along the closed race route, and an epic mountain finish up the challenging Col du Granon. Then witness the spectacular return of the legendary Alpe d’Huez where you will watch roadside to get your first real taste of pure Tour de France mountain atmosphere. You will not only experience the thrill and beauty combined of the TDF, but ride bucket list Alps climbs and indulge in divine French wine and delicacies as you go. Allez Allez!

Welcome to the Alps!

July 10, 2022 / Difficulty

Welcome to the Alps and the start of your ultimate insiders Alps Pro experience!

This morning, your host – 17 X TDF rider Stuart O’Grady and the Mummu team will meet you at Geneva airport before transferring to our premium mountain chalet accommodation in Morzine.

On arrival, take some time to check-in and settle before meeting the Mummu staff for a short welcome brief, followed by bike assembly and fits.

There will then be time to grab a spot of lunch at your leisure before regrouping for this afternoon’s warm-up ride, led by 4 x Tour de France stage winner, Stuey! Today’s ride will be all about spinning the legs out post travel, enjoying the stunning scenery and gearing up for some big day’s through the Alps to come.

After the ride, we will watch the Stage finish together at the hotel over a cool beverage and toast to what we expect will be a fantastic trip ahead!

Enjoy some down time to relax and freshen up before meeting for this evening’s group welcome dinner where Stuey will share stories from his many years racing the Tour de France.

Welcome to the Alps and the start of your ultimate insiders Alps Pro experience!

This morning, your host – 17 X TDF rider Stuart O’Grady and the Mummu team will meet you at Geneva airport before transferring to our premium mountain chalet accommodation in Morzine.

On arrival, take some time to check-in and settle before meeting the Mummu staff for a short welcome brief.

The afternoon will be yours free to enjoy lunch at your leisure and explore the charming local mountain village.

Later day, we will watch Stage finish together at the hotel over a cool beverage and toast to what we expect will be a fantastic trip ahead!

Day 2

Meet a Pro team on the TDF rest day

July 11, 2022 / Difficulty

This morning enjoy a good breakfast at the hotel before kitting up for today’s ride!

Once we’re all set for roll out, Stuey will lead the way on a beautiful ride to and around the famous Lake Geneva – a very popular choice for Swiss cyclists due to its incredible scenery.

Keep in mind that throughout the ride and all rides, the Mummu support vehicle will never be far out of sight providing mechanical assistance, drinks and ride nutrition!

Along the way, we will make a pitstop at a local village where you will be able to get lunch at your leisure.

Following a great ride, and a few photo opportunities along the lake, we will transfer to a Pro team’s hotel to enjoy an exclusive team meet and greet on the Tour de France rest day. This is specially arranged by Stuey via his many contacts and close relationships in the sport and will give you the incredible opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes of a World Tour team at the TDF. You will also be able to hear from and quiz some of the staff and if we’re lucky – a rider or two.

Afterwards, we will transfer you back to the hotel where this evening will be at your leisure to explore our mountain town surrounds or relax and unwind.

Day 2

Meet a Pro team on the TDF rest day

This morning enjoy a good breakfast at the hotel and a relaxed start to the day before transferring to the UCI headquarters in Aigle where the world governing body for cycling is based. Here you will go on a guided tour of the impressive coaching and training centre, including; a velodrome, a BMX racing track and beyond.

You will then transfer to a Pro team’s hotel to enjoy an exclusive team meet and greet. This is specially arranged by Stuey via his many contacts and close relationships in the sport and will give you the incredible opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes of a World Tour team at the TDF. You will also be able to hear from and quiz some of the staff and if we’re lucky – a rider or two.

Afterwards, we will transfer you back to the hotel where this evening will be at your leisure to explore our mountain town surrounds or relax and unwind.

Day 3

Ride off the Stage 10 Start line and along the race route

July 12, 2022 / Difficulty
/ Distance 2 hours

Enjoy a nutritious breakfast this morning before riding to the Stage 10 Start close by in Morzine Les Portes de Soleil where you will be enjoying the truly surreal ‘Ride Depart’ experience – an exclusive asset we are able to deliver as an Official Tour de France Tour Operator.

Here, you will ride off the Stage start line along the race route, within the Tour de France race caravan and just hours ahead of the pros themselves! All on closed roads, you’ll be every other fans envy and will be feeling like a bit of a rock star as you witness the incredible feeling of being applauded and cheered for by dedicated fans lining the streets in excited anticipation for the Stage to come.

We will ride for several hours along the course surrounded by stunning mountain scenery as the race travels along Lake Geneva towards Mégeve. Following a top effort, we’ll set up roadside for a picnic lunch while we await the pros to blitz by and show us how it’s done. Prepare to get your cheer on in full force!

Concluding some live stage viewing and a memorable ride adventure, we will transfer back to the hotel where the evening will be yours free to explore or relax and unwind after a solid day out.

Day 3

Ride off the Stage 10 Start line and along the race route

July 12, 2022

Enjoy a nutritious breakfast this morning before transferring to the Stage 10 Start close by in Morzine Les Portes de Soleil where you will enjoy the Stage start festivities and lap up the buzzing atmosphere. You will then have the exclusive opportunity to drive off the Stage start line, within the Official Tour de France caravan and along closed roads. Wind the windows down and take it all in as excited fans chant in cheer.

You will travel for approximately 50km along the route to our mid-stage race viewing location. Here, you’ll reconnect with our riding contingent and enjoy a picnic lunch while awaiting the pros to blitz by and show us how it’s done. Prepare to get your cheer on in full force!

Concluding some thrilling live stage viewing, we will transfer back to the hotel where the evening will be yours to explore or relax and unwind after a big day out.

Ride the Col du Granon + Watch the Stage 11 mountain madness at summit finish line hospitality!

July 13, 2022 / Difficulty
/ Distance 2.5 hours

Today’s the day that you will get your first real taste of Tour de France mountain madness as the race travels over a tantalizingly tough route through the Alps, rounding out a tough day up the Col du Granon!

Following a big breakfast and check out, we will transfer to our ride start point along the back-end of the race route. Stuey will then lead the way, following the yellow Le Tour arrows all the way to the base of the epic Col du Granon.

11.1km with an average of 9.2% – it won’t be an easy feat, however this is the Alps and this is your chance to conquer an epic + as it’s RACE DAY – the climb will be lined with excited fans cheering you on every pedal of the way. Take the climb at your own pace and keep in mind that Mummu support will never be far out of sight.

On arrival to the summit, take in the mountain views and the incredibly satisfactory sensations of climbing a big mountain pass. You will then have time to change and freshen up before making your way to VIP Izoard finish line hospitality where you can watch the race over big screen entertainment and enjoy unlimited beverages and canapés while awaiting the thrill of witnessing your first mountain top finish LIVE from the best viewing spot there is.

After what we are sure will be an incredibly exciting finale, we will transfer to our next destination in Grenoble. Take some time to check in and settle before regathering for this evenings group dinner to tell tales of the day’s whirlwind of events and hear Stuey’s thoughts on what’s still to come for the coming days.

Ride the Col du Granon + Watch the Stage 11 mountain madness at summit finish line hospitality!

Experience Alpe d'Huez on RACE DAY!

Today is destined to be another epic day out in the mountains as the mythical Alpe d’Huez returns to the Tour de France for the first time since 2018!

Following a good breakfast, we will transfer to today’s ride start point along the race route that will once again run right into the final climb of the day, giving you the opportunity to conquer a true Alps legend on RACE DAY. When it comes to atmosphere on a climb, Alpe d’Huez takes things to a whole new level. Embrace it as you pedal your way up, from bend 1 to 21!

After a big effort to the summit, Stuey and the Mummu guides will lead you back down part of the climb to our roadside viewing spot right in the thick of the mountain magic. This is as great as Tour de France atmosphere gets and you will be right amidst the best of it!

While waiting for the race to approach the climb, enjoy a picnic lunch and cool beverages at the Mummu Marquee before settling in for some thrilling roadside action. Get set to cheer your favourite riders on as they storm by at incredible speeds in hot pursuit of Alpe d’Huez honours.

Following an action packed day out at the Tour, we will transfer back to the hotel. This evening will be yours free to explore Grenoble and its top bars and restaurants, or alternatively – kick back and relax.

Following an action packed day out at the Tour, we will transfer back to the hotel. This evening will be yours free to explore Grenoble and its top bars and restaurants, or alternatively – kick back and relax.

Watch the Stage 13 Start from the Official Departure Village

After breakfast this morning we will transfer to today’s Stage 13 Start in Bourg d’Oisans, where you will experience ‘Departure Village’ Tour de France hospitality. Another asset we have privileged access to as an Official Tour Operator.

Here, you’ll be able to kick back over local delicacies and enjoy the humming, excited pre-start atmosphere, while watching the riders step onto the stage for official sign-on, all surrounded by star studded company amidst former pros and big Le Tour names. Follow your tour host Stuey and you never know who you might bump into…

*Depending on COVID restrictions next July, we ‘may’ also have access to the Paddock that allows you to walk around the team bus area where riders are busily preparing and warming up for the Stage ahead!

Following the Stage start, there will be opportunity to grab a spot of lunch before preparing for a 3 hour ride, where you will be conquering a selection of epic Alps cols, including; the iconic Galibier and the Croix de Fer!

After a solid outing in the mountains, take some time out to relax before regathering for our final group dinner, celebrating what we expect has been a fantastic week taking in the best of the Alps Tour de France action.
