Welcome to Lille where your 2025 Tour de France adventure begins!

The Mummu Cycling team will meet you at the Lille Europa Train Station and then transfer you to the elegant 4-star Hotel L’Arbre Voyageur, nestled in the heart of Lille’s city centre.
After checking in, head to our dedicated bike room where our staff will provide a brief welcome and help you set up your bike. Then take a break to explore local cafes for lunch at your leisure.

In the afternoon, our experienced guides will lead you on a short orientation ride to ensure your bike fits perfectly. Our support vehicle will accompany all rides, providing mechanical assistance, nutrition and refreshments whenever needed.

Following your ride and some downtime, we’ll attend the thrilling Tour de France team’s presentation ceremony. Watch as cycling’s elite take centre stage, their anticipation building for the race ahead.

The evening culminates with a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant, joined by cycling legend Stuart O’Grady. Share your excitement for the Tour de France over exquisite French cuisine while getting to know your fellow cycling enthusiasts!

Start your day with a hearty Continental breakfast before joining us for a leisurely mid-morning cycle. We’ll explore Lille’s picturesque surroundings, gently preparing your legs for the exciting week ahead. Savor this peaceful ride through the French countryside – tomorrow you’ll be caught up in the exhilarating rush of the Tour de France!

After returning to the hotel, refresh and enjoy a light meal before we journey to the legendary Roubaix Velodrome – the historic finish line of the Paris-Roubaix classic. Step inside this iconic venue and follow the Roubaix Walk of Fame, treading the final cobblestone sector where cycling’s greatest champions have left their mark, commemorated by plaques bearing the names of every Paris-Roubaix winner including our very own Stuart O’Grady!

We’ll then return to Lille where the rest of the day is yours to explore. As evening falls, explore the city’s renowned dining scene at your own pace, sampling the delectable fusion of French and Flemish flavours in local restaurants.

As this is the first time starting in France in sometime, the fanfare will be unmatched at this very special homecoming edition of the Tour de France

After breakfast, don your Mummu cycling gear for an exclusive experience that only Official Tour Operators can provide. You’ll have the rare privilege of starting from the actual Stage 1 start line in central Lille, riding the course on closed roads behind the race caravan and ahead of the professionals. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, made even more special by being the opening stage, will see you cheered on by passionate fans lining the streets as you navigate through the city and into the rolling countryside.

After approximately 1.5 hours of riding, we’ll guide you to our exclusive roadside viewing spot where the Mummu marquee awaits with a gourmet picnic lunch and refreshing drinks. Once the peloton passes, we’ll return to the hotel to refresh before heading out to witness the thrilling sprint finish beneath the Citadel.

As the excitement of the Grand Départ settles, immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere and enjoy dinner at your leisure in bustling Lille.

Dressed in your Mummu kit, we’ll transport you to our starting point along Stage 2’s route, 50 kilometres from the finish. You’ll tackle the same challenging course designed for cycling’s powerful “puncheurs.” While the climbs may be brief, they pack a punch! Spurred on by cheering spectators, you’ll conquer these final tests before a swift descent to the finish. Experience the thrill of riding through the Flamme Rouge’s barriers and crossing the actual finish line – feel free to celebrate in style! Then it’s your moment to shine on the winner’s podium for some memorable photos!

Your guide for this special day is cycling legend Stuart O’Grady, whose impressive career includes 17 Tour de France appearances, two stage victories, two Team Time Trial wins, and time in the coveted Yellow Jersey.

Afterward, enjoy premium VIP hospitality at the finish line. Sip unlimited drinks and savour French canapés while following the race action on big screens. We’ll begin our ride along Stage 3’s route, which stretches from Valenciennes to historic Dunkerque – a TDF stage town for the 21st time.

After your own cycling challenge, we’ll treat you to the Tour’s premier hospitality experience – the Relais Étape. As an Official Tour Operator, Mummu Cycling offers you exclusive access to this exceptional setting at a strategic point along the course.

Indulge in an exquisite multi-course lunch paired with regional French wines while following the race drama on large screens. When the moment arrives, step to the roadside to witness the peloton thunder past within touching distance. Today’s route is cleverly designed to either split the field into dramatic echelons or culminate in an explosive bunch sprint near the Marcel-Tribut Stadium.

Following the conclusion of Stage 3, we’ll transfer back to the hotel for an evening in Lille at your leisure.

Begin your final morning with breakfast before checking out and heading to Amiens Métropole for Stage 4’s start – a fitting location, where Jules Verne penned his classic “Around the World in 80 Days” in 1873.

Stuart will be your guide through the Official Tour de France Departure Village, an exclusive access point available through our Tour Operator status. Experience the electric atmosphere of this bustling hub, centred around the signing-in podium where riders officially register for the stage. Sample local delicacies and refreshments while absorbing the pre-race excitement. Next door, at the team paddock, watch cycling’s elite prepare at their team buses before the start.

You’ll be at the heart of the action, immersed in the Departure Village’s festivities and – with Stuart’s insider knowledge – likely to spot some cycling stars up close during their pre-race preparations.
