Welcome to the Pyrenees!

Welcome to the Pyrenees and the beginning of your Tour de France adventure through to Paris!

This morning, the Mummu Cycling team will meet you at the Toulouse airport/train station. We will then transfer to our premium accommodation at the Mercure Toulouse, located right in the beautiful city centre.

On arrival, take some time to check-in and settle before meeting the Mummu team for a welcome brief, followed by bike set up and fittings.

This afternoon, it will be time to kit up to head out for a short spin on scenic surrounding local roads. Just enough to spin the legs out post travel and ahead of some big days on the radar!

On return, we will watch the Stage 16 finish at the hotel together before enjoying a group welcome dinner in the vibrant city square and toast to the week to come.

Welcome to the Pyrenees!

Welcome to the Pyrenees and the beginning of your Tour de France adventure through to Paris!

This morning, the Mummu Cycling team will meet you at the Toulouse airport/train station. We will then transfer to our premium accommodation at the Mercure Toulouse, located right in the beautiful city centre.

On arrival, take some time to check-in and settle before meeting the Mummu team for a welcome brief. This afternoon will be yours free to explore the humming, history-rich city, commonly referred as La Ville Rose (‘The Pink City’) due to the terra-cotta bricks that line many of its buildings.

On return, join us as we watch the Stage 16 finish at the hotel together before enjoying a group welcome dinner in the vibrant city square and toast to the week to come.

Day 2

Exclusive ride off the Stage 17 start line and along the race route + Roadside stage viewing!

Prepare for an exciting day out at the TDF – today promises to be one for the memory books as we take our first real step into the Tour de France’s inner sanctum for Stage 17!

Following a gourmet breakfast at the hotel and checkout, we will transfer to the Start in Muret where you will be enjoying the truly surreal, ‘Ride Depart’ experience, an exclusive asset we are able to deliver as an Official Tour de France Tour Operator.

Here, you will ride off the stage start line along the racecourse, within the Tour de France race caravan and just hours ahead of the pros themselves! All on closed roads, you’ll without doubt be every other fans envy and will assuredly be feeling like a bit of a superstar as you witness the incredible feeling of being applauded and cheered for by excited fans lining the streets in anticipation for the stage to come.

We will ride for several hours along the course before setting up roadside for a picnic lunch while we await the pros to fly by and show us how it’s done. Prepare to get your cheer on for your favourite riders in full force!

Concluding some live stage viewing, we will transfer to our next destination, Lourdes where we’ll be staying right within the buzzing city centre at the stunning Grand Hôtel Moderne. Take some time to check-in and relax. The evening will then be yours to explore the city streets packed with a great selection of restaurants and bars!

Day 2

Day 3

Tourmalet time!

July 15, 2021 / Difficulty
/ Distance 3.5 hours

Today will be a short, action-packed stage from Pau to the top of the Luz Ardiden, and starring the iconic Tour de France famous, Col du Tourmalet!

Following breakfast, it’ll be time to prepare for our ride from the hotel in Lourdes that follows a scenic route along bike paths and back roads to the Tourmalet.

The Tourmalet travels up to a brutal 2,115m. We’ll be tackling the Western side that includes 18.9km of climbing with a challenging 7.4% average gradient.

Now’s your chance to put your legs to the test! Ride it as hard or as gently as you so desire and be sure to soak up the RACE DAY atmosphere as you go!

After a big effort, take in the beautiful views at the summit before descending to our roadside setup for the day, nestled at a key point up the climb.

The hard work is now done, and it’ll be time to pull up a seat under the Mummu marquee, treat yourself to a cool coke or beer and enjoy a picnic lunch while we embrace the excitement on the mountain and prepare for one hell of a show to come very soon…

As the final mountain stage of this year’s Tour de France, expect some serious race fireworks!!

Concluding what we are sure will be a truly spectacular day on the Tourmalet, we will transfer back to Lourdes, where the evening will be yours free to enjoy at your leisure.

Tourmalet time!

July 15, 2021

Following breakfast, you’ll enjoy some time to visit the world famous pilgrimage site, the Sanctuary our Lady of Lourdes, before transferring on to the Tourmalet.

Today, you will experience Tour de France finish line hospitality!

Following breakfast and checkout, we will transfer along the Stage 19 race route that travels from Mourenx over stunning vineyard scattered roads to Libourne, as the tour makes its way towards France’s most raved about wine region, Bordeaux.

We’ll then hop out of vehicles, ready to ride along the final 60km stretch into today’s finish, where an electric sprint battle is expected to take place!

On arrival, it’ll be time to freshen up before stepping into Izoard finish line hospitality, where you’ll be treated to French canapés, unlimited beverages and big screen entertainment as we share thoughts on who today’s stage winner may be…perhaps a Sam Bennett, Caleb Ewan head-to-head battle? Either way, it’s certain to be a thriller. Brace yourself to witness a TDF sprint finish LIVE!

Following an exciting afternoon out in hospitality, we will transfer to our new premium accommodation located in the heart of France’s stunning port city of Bordeaux, right on the picturesque Garonne river.

Ride the penultimate decisive TT & then watch the stage from VIP hospitality!

Today is TT day! If 2020’s thrilling, race-decisive penultimate Time Trial is anything to go by, then we’re in for quite a day.

The last time Bordeaux held a TT was in 2010 when the legendary Fabian Cancellara bested Tony Martin. This afternoon, we’ll see a new legend crowned as the winner of the 2021 Tour de France will be decided, with only the final run into Paris remaining tomorrow.

Enjoy a nutritious breakfast at the hotel before kitting up for a scenic ride out to Libourne where today’s 31km race against the clock will commence. You’ll then be able to ride the course, along its stunning vineyard setting, right through to the finish in Saint-Emilion.

Following some course recon, it’ll be time to freshen up, change and hit the Tour de France’s most talked about hospitality location – the Relais Etape, located at a pinnacle point along the racecourse!

The Relais Etape is an exclusive hospitality experience, offering a real day of ‘VIP treatment’ that will have you sitting down to a divine three course long-lunch, paired with unlimited local French wine, all while watching the Stage 19 action from big screen entertainment, amidst some star-studded company, in the form of past Tour de France contenders.

To Paris we go...

Today’s the day that the 2021 Tour de France comes to a close, and you’ll be there to witness is all, LIVE!

Following breakfast and check out, we’ll hop on board the morning fast train to Paris for the final showdown.

On arrival, take some time to check in and freshen up at our premium accommodation, located in the heart of Paris. We’ll then regather for a group lunch to prepare for this evening’s festivities, seeing the 2021 Tour de France to a close.

On return to the hotel, take some time to reset before we meet up to transfer to to our official Le Tour de France Grandstand seating this evening along the iconic Champs-Elysées. Here, you’ll be joined by 17 x Tour de France cycling legend, Stuart O’Grady!

We’ll be right there in the thick of it, near the famous finish line where the atmosphere will be truly surreal…Expect a nail-biting, chaotic sprint finish and some serious Tour de France celebrations as the 2021 overall Tour de France winner crosses the line in triumph, while the sprinters go-head-to-head for the stage!

Concluding the Stage and podium presentations, the evening will be yours to embrace the lively festivities and explore Paris by night.
