The 101st edition of the Giro d’Italia appears to be a tough, testing but a classic-looking race. There are few innovations after the historic start in Israel but the mountainous route should ensure the Giro keeps its self-styled moniker of ‘the toughest race in the world’s most beautiful place’. As previously announced, the race will start with three stages in Israel. The opening 9.7km time trial in Jerusalem on Friday, May 4 will shape the overall classification and perhaps even see Froome immediately in the pink jersey. It is followed by stages for the sprinters to Tel Aviv and Eilat
This was the first time I have ever watched the announcement of the Tour De France, believe it or not. It’s strange to think that a race that captivated my life for 17 years, I never felt any obligation or much interest in finding out exactly where we were going. Because at the end of the day, it didn’t really matter. It all hurts! Watching the race being unveiled tonight was a lot more exciting than what I thought. I guess its because I now understand how hard it actually is to complete any Grand Tour. Before, I was
From the Desk of Stuart O’Grady Here I am sitting in Mondorf Les Bains after an incredible start to my TDF European adventure with Mummu Cycling. I landed in Dusseldorf last Wednesday into torrential rains which lashed the start of the TDF. We had a small group of great people who I introduced into “my” cycling world. We met teams, riders, mechanics and had photos with a lot of their favourites along the way. Ran into an old friend this arvo… This time we aren’t trying to kick each other butts in the sprints. He was a Legend @letour @EteZabel

The Ride routes were awesome and very challenging. Many thanks & appreciation to Phil for his close support, enthusiasm & company – both on & off the road.
Accommodations exceeded my expectations, especially the restaurants.
Staff were cyclists from the top shelf. Because of this, I pushed myself to try harder and had the opportunity to learn many new skills returning home a better ride.
