The 2021 World Championships are predicted to be one of the best ever, taking place in the home of cycling – Belgium and its greatest, most iconic roads through Flanders. Home to the famous Tour of Flanders and other prestigious races like Gent-Wevelgem, the region will far from disappoint in delivering a spectacular fight for rainbows to celebrate the Championships 100th anniversary.

Mummu Cycling will be there with bells on to ride the course, meet the pros, then witness the worlds best battle it out live from prime locations along the route, including premium viewing in the heart of the buzzing city of Leuven where the road race finishing circuits take place.

Following a glorious fight for gold, the fun and games won’t be over as you’ll explore the best of Flanders past, riding the most famous roads of the region before moving on to the rougher streets of Roubaix. Prepare for a thrilling day out riding the relentless pavé sectors of Paris-Roubaix, before settling in for the time of your life, watching the pro men and women show us how it’s done on race day.

Welcome to Belgium!

Welcome to Belgium and the start of your cobbled extravaganza!

The Mummu Cycling team will collect you mid-morning from Brussels airport or train station, before transferring 45 minutes to our hotel in the heart of Leuven where the 2021 World Road Champs are primarily based.

Upon arrival, take some time to check-in and settle before regathering for a short welcome briefing. We will then guide you to our allocated bike room where experienced staff will set up and assist with dialling bikes to your measurements ahead of this afternoon’s warm-up spin.

Following some time out to relax and grab a bite from a local brasserie or whatever you so desire, we will set out mid-afternoon on a 40km scenic, leisurely paced opening ride, guided by your host.

Today’s ride will be all about getting used to our surroundings, the narrow and often rougher Belgian roads and spinning out the legs post travel. Enjoy the serenity of the beautiful countryside once we’re out of the city centre.

This evening we’ll enjoy a group welcome dinner to toast to what we expect will be a fantastic tour ahead!

Watch the Women's World Championships Road Race LIVE

This morning, enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast at the hotel before getting ready for a day out at the races!

To kick start the day with a bang, we will be setting out on bikes for a morning adventure out on course, riding the local finishing circuit from Leuven, featuring a number of short punchy climbs. Today’s ride will provide an excellent opportunity to get an idea as to what’s in store for this afternoons action as the professional women chase rainbows!

Following a good dose of cobbles, it’ll be time to freshen up before heading out to the race start in Antwerp where you will enjoy a guided tour of the start area and see the riders tentatively prepare for one of the biggest races of the year.

We will then transfer back to Leuven to witness the best of the action at the pointy end of the race, where the worlds best female cyclists will battle right by us 3 times!

Could we see Anna Van der Breggen do the double? She’s certainly in with a great shot…

After the day’s adventures, take some time to relax back at the hotel before enjoying the evening and the race festivities in downtown Leuven at your leisure.

Watch the Women's World Championships Road Race LIVE

September 25, 2021

This morning, enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast at the hotel before getting ready for a day out at the races!

To kick start the day with a bang, you will be exploring our beautiful surroundings on a walking tour of the city. Leuven, although lesser known to other Belgian cities, is full of atmosphere, incredible architecture, history and sights to see. Also well known for its divine chocolate, hearty beer selection and waffles.

Following a morning out exploring, it’ll be time to regroup to head out to the race start in Antwerp where you will have an incredible opportunity to enjoy a tour of the start area and see the riders tentatively prepare for one of the biggest races of the year.

We will then transfer back to Leuven to witness the best of the action at the pointy end of the race, where the worlds best female cyclists will battle right by us 3 times!

This morning, enjoy a substantial breakfast at the hotel as today will be an epic day out at the worlds!

Following yesterday’s thrilling action, we hope you’re ready for more as today the pro men get to show us how it’s done. Prepare to be amazed as the worlds best go head to head in the form of their lives over Belgiums finest, roughest terrain.

After breakfast, kit up and get ready for one last ride exploring different parts of the course – led out by our ride guides and support crew.

Following the ride, there will be time to change and refresh at the hotel before making our way to Official UCI race hospitality at the finish. Here you can enjoy endless canapés and beverages of choice while watching the action unfold from big screen entertainment. Then, when the race comes storming into Leuven to contest a number of hot laps of the city, you’ll be primly positioned to witness the action LIVE from an incredible viewing location.

You’ll then be right there to see the thrilling battle to the line where the 2021 World Champion will raise his hands in the air in glory! Cheers to that.

After the days’ excitement we will return to the hotel to relax and unwind before regathering for a group dinner to toast to the new World Champions and our final night in Leuven.

This morning, following breakfast and checkout we will hit the road on route to the beautiful, charismatic city of Ghent.

On arrival, it will be time to kit up today’s ride where we will be exploring the roads of Flanders past, on route to the iconic Muur van Geraardsbergen.

In Geraardsbergen we will make a pitstop where you will have opportunity to grab a spot of lunch and refuel for the journey back to Ghent.

This evenings dinner will then be at your leisure to explore the stunning city centre where a great selection of bars and restaurants will be calling your name.

Ride to the Muur van Geraardsbergen

This morning, following breakfast and checkout we will hit the road on route to the beautiful, charismatic city of Ghent.

On arrival, take some time to settle in to our new surroundings before regathering for today’s adventure to KOERS Cycling Museum – packed with incredible cycling memorabilia, history and bikes! The Belgian’s are as passionate as can be when it comes to cycling, and KOERS certainly showcases that. A must-see for all cycling fans.

This evenings dinner will be at your leisure to explore the stunning city centre where a great selection of bars and restaurants will be calling your name.

Ride the most iconic Tour of Flanders roads and Explore Ghent

This morning, enjoy a good breakfast as today we’ll be conquering the most iconic roads of the incredible Tour of Flanders along the most famous part of the race route.

Be prepared for cobbles galore and gritty climbs as we set out to tackle the likes of the Oude Kwaremont, the Paterberg, the Paddestraat and many more.

Led by your pro host + experienced guides and with ride support all day long – do not fear, you’ll be in good hands with a great support team behind you!

Following a bumpy, adrenaline-high day in the saddle, we’ll finish the day back in Ghent where a cool Belgian beer will no doubt be beckoning.

This evening will be yours free to explore the buzzing city and take your pick from its wide selection of bars and restaurants.

This morning, enjoy a relaxed start to the day taking breakfast and the morning at your leisure.

At midday we will depart for an afternoon of sightseeing the spectacular Ghent on a guided city walking tour. The tour will lead you through the heart of the medieval centre, via its historical sights and charming cobbled alleys to ensure you see all its hidden gems. Prepare to be wowed by its stunning history as you learn all about the city’s past and legends as you go.

This evening will be yours free to enjoy and following today’s tour, you’ll no doubt no a great place or two to enjoy dinner and a drink!

Bruges - Brewery bound

This morning following breakfast and checkout – kit up and prepare for our ride cross-country to the famous Belgian city of Bruges.

Bruges is well knowns for its stunning inter-city canals, cobbled streets and outstanding medieval architecture…a must visit when in Belgium!

Today’s ride will veer through small towns on typical Belgian narrow country roads. Enjoy the quiet countryside and new surroundings as we go.

On arrival, check-in and freshen up before meeting back in the lobby for our next adventure.

This afternoon, will be making our way to a famous craft beer brewery to see for ourselves what all the hype’s about when talking beer in Belgium! In case you weren’t already aware – Belgium and beer go hand in hand and Bruges itself is well known for its local selection and wide variety of beer. If you’re up for it, we’ll enjoy a tasting and explore of the brewery before transferring back to the city centre.

This evening, we’ll enjoy a group dinner at a reputable local restaurant in downtown Bruges.

This morning, enjoy a nutritious breakfast as today we’ll be enjoying a great ride around Bruge’s finest surrounding regions and many of the roads raced in the pro race – Three Days of Bruges–De Panne.

We’ll make a stop on route at a local brasserie to grab lunch at leisure and refuel for the journey back to Bruges.

On arrival, the afternoon and evening will be yours free to rest and relax, or explore the spectacular city centre, filled with amazing bars and restaurants to take your pick from.

Late morning, we will then meet in the lobby before setting out to explore the picturesque Bruges and all its must-visit hotspots, including the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Holy Savior Cathedral, Koningin Astridpark, Minnewater Lake, Jan Van Eyck Square, The lake of love “Minnewater” and Beguinage.

Pavé time with 3 x Paris-Roubaix & Flanders winner, Johan Museuuew

October 1, 2021 / Difficulty

This morning after breakfast and checkout we will make out way over to the mighty Hell of the North to meet up with with famous former professional cyclist from Belgium, Johan Museeuw – A legendary World champion, 3 x Paris-Roubaix and 3 x Flanders winner! Johan, known as the ‘Lion of Flanders’ will lead out today’s ride where we’ll be riding 70km of the infamous Paris-Roubaix route. What better way to take on the pavé for the very first time, alongside a triple winner of the race and a true icon of the sport!

Now, just day’s away from race day, the pavé will no doubt be buzzing with pro teams and excited likeminded fans awaiting the spectacular return of Paris-Roubaix, following its absence in 2020 and earlier year in April.

Following the day’s excitement, we will transfer to our hotel in Kortrijk where we’ll be based for the remainder of the trip. To cap off a fantastic day out, Johan will join us for drinks and a group dinner, where he’ll share stories from his extraordinary career.

Pavé time with 3 x Paris-Roubaix & Flanders winner, Johan Museuuew

October 1, 2021

This morning after breakfast and checkout we will make out way over to Kortrijk where we will be based for the remainder of the trip.

On arrival, we will be enjoying a walking tour to get to know our new surroundings. The city that lies on the river Leie is rich in history dotted with beautiful historic, but also modern buildings. Its well-known attractions are the Beguinage, the Broeltorens and the K shopping centre. Throughout the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore its best sights, stopping off where necessary for coffee and perhaps a must-try Belgian waffle!

Following the day’s excitement, we will return to our hotel in Kortrijk. Take the afternoon to relax and unwind before regathering for a group dinner and drinks, joined by famous former professional cyclist from Belgium, Johan Museeuw – A legendary World Champion, 3 x Paris-Roubaix and 3 x Flanders winner known as the ‘Lion of Flanders’. This evening Johan will share stories from his extraordinary career, and share insight as to what might happen in Paris-Roubaix now just hours away!

Learn how to master the pavé from a pro + Watch the inaugural women's Paris-Roubaix LIVE

Today marks a special occasion – the inaugural women’s Paris-Roubaix!

Following breakfast, we’ll start the day off just right by kitting up to return to the infamous roads of Northern France, including the; Mons-en-Pevele, Carrefour de l’Aarbe and of course, the daunting d’Arenberg Forest. From there, you’ll be taught by a pro how to master the cobbles like a champion. Take in all the tips you can, then put your learnings to the test!

After the ride, there will be opportunity to freshen up before settling in for some LIVE race viewing as the professional women go head to head for the very first time at Paris-Roubaix.

After the race, we will then return to Kortrijk where dinner will be at your leisure. As you will have noticed, there will be several pro teams staying with us at the Parkhotel, so you may wish to reserve dinner there.

Watch Paris-Roubaix LIVE!

A day that the entire cycling world has been yearning to see return is finally back. It’s the Queen of the Classics and you’ll be there to witness all its glory LIVE!

Following its absence in 2020 and postponement in April of 2021, we can only assume that today will be truly surreal.

We will start the day’s excitement by making our way to the iconic Trouée d’Arenberg, securing our place roadside to watch the peloton battle it out over the train lines and onto the iconic pavé dotted roads.

Following the final rider, our VIP accredited vans will drive through roadblocks and onto the course towards the velodrome where we will take our place inside Official VIP Hospitality on the first corner and await in nervous, excited anticipation for the leaders to come storming through.  Our VIP hospitality includes an open bar and lunch, live broadcast of the race on multiple screens and access to the velodrome lawn concluding the finish. Our 2019 guests were close enough to shake Philippe Gilbert’s hand!

After seeing the 2021 Paris Roubaix champion crowned, we will make our way back to our accommodation for our last night. To celebrate and toast to 10 days of Classics adventures, we will enjoy a final group dinner.
