Welcome to the Bordeaux and the start of your Tour de France experience with cycling legend, Stuart O’Grady! The Mummu Cycling team will collect you this morning from Bordeaux train station before transferring to our premium accommodation in the heart of the buzzing city centre of Bordeaux.

On arrival, check-in and take some time to settle before meeting the Mummu staff for a welcome brief, followed by bike assembly and fits to prepare for the week ahead!

After this, you will have a chance to grab some lunch at leisure and check out our surrounds.

After lunch we will make our way to Izoard finish line hospitality –  a VIP experience exclusive to Official Tour Operators.

Here you will be treated to unlimited beverages, French canapés and big screen entertainment while you await the Stage finish from the best viewing spot there is right at the finish! Today is expected to be a thrilling sprint battle so get your cameras out and get ready to witness the world’s fastest cyclists go head to head for Tour de France honours.

Following what we are sure will be an epic finale, we will transfer back to the hotel. This evening we will have a welcome dinner where you can get to know your the Tour de Vins group, enjoy a delicious dinner and wine pairing at a renowned local winery and toast to a great week to be had ahead!

Following a nutritious breakfast  we will transfer to the Stage 8 start in Libourne where you will experience ‘Departure Village’ Tour de France hospitality – Another asset we have privileged access to as an Official Tour Operator.

Here, you’ll be able to kick back over local delicacies and enjoy the humming, excited pre-start atmosphere, while watching the riders step onto the stage for official sign-on, all surrounded by star studded company amidst former pros and big Le Tour names. Follow your host, Stuart O’Grady around and you never know who you might bump into!

After the Stage start, there will be time to take lunch at your leisure before kitting up for this afternoon’s ride where we will be having some fun winery hopping in the iconic Saint-Emilion region.

After the last winery stop we will have a short transfer back to the hotel  in Bordeaux where the evening will be yours to enjoy at leisure.

This morning will be an earlier start as we venture on to our next destination. Enjoy a good breakfast before checking out and preparing for our transfer to today’s ride start point along the mountainous Stage 9 route.

Soon after arrival, the Mummu guides will lead the way on a rolling ride on course for approximately 2.5 hours. You will be completely absorbed in the Tour de France mountain atmosphere that surrounds you as excited fans line the roadside cheering you on as they await the race to come this afternoon. Motivation will no doubt be at its greatest and you’ll be grinning away snapping pics.

At the end of our ride we the Mummu marquee will be awaiting your arrival with cool beverages and a delicious picnic lunch to replenish those efforts and kill a little time before the peloton arrive.

Soon enough, the head of the race will come flying past at furious unfathomable speeds! Be prepared to be mind blown and remember to cheer on your favourite riders as they blitz by.

After an exciting afternoon out watching the race, we will transfer on to our next hotel in the heart of the Clermont-Ferrand. Once checked in, we will have a group dinner.

Today is a rest day at the Tour de France, which means we can enjoy a relaxed breakfast without the time pressures of having to make it to the race!

After breakfast, it will be time to kit up for a relatively relaxed 2 hour ride. This ride will take you through some beautiful country roads on the outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand, riding truly is one of the best ways to explore!

Following the ride, we will head back to the hotel to freshen up before transferring to a to a local winery for lunch.

After lunch we will be back to the hotel where the evening will be yours to enjoy at leisure. Clermont-Ferrand is known for it’s excellent food and wine, so make sure you explore and visit some of the hot spots for dinner.

After a decent breakfast at the hotel, before the action gets underway, we will be enjoying our own ride adventure on the stage 10 course to get a real feel for what’s in store for this afternoon’s racing. Today you will be riding with cycling legend and 17 x Tour de France rider Stuart O’Grady.

After the ride it will be time to freshen up and kick back and enjoy a fantastic day of spectating at the Tour de France’s most talked about hospitality location – the Relais Etape with Stuey.

The Relais Etape is an exclusive hospitality experience, offering a real day of ‘VIP treatment’ that will have you sitting down to a divine three course long-lunch, paired with unlimited local French wine, all while watching the Stage 20 action from big screen entertainment, amidst some star-studded company, in the form of past Tour de France contenders.

As the atmosphere continues to build, you’ll soon see the riders blitz by at mind-blowing speeds, on cutting edge aerodynamic equipment. By then, you’ll be glowing with excitement, chanting support as the peloton fly past within arm’s reach!

Following a thrilling stage 10 battle and, we will transfer back to Clermont-Ferrand. The evening will be at your leisure to explore our surrounds or relax.

Following breakfast and checkout, we will transfer you to Clermont-Ferrand train station and wish you farewell!
