Stage 9 from Arras Citadelle to Roubaix is set to be decisive in the 2018 edition of the Tour de France boasting 15 cobbled sectors. GC teams will be planning to stay upright for the day with Puncheurs looking for a stage win before the tour’s first rest day.

With a climb of 16 kilometres at an average gradient of over 8% and an altitude of 2,215 m, the Col de Portet has all the assets to become a new Tourmalet.
