This year for the first time, Mummu Cycling will be in France to watch the second edition of the new version of the women’s Tour de France avec Zwift LIVE! See the best female riders in the world join the history books at the biggest stage race in the world! Mummu cycling will be there for all the action from stage from stage 4 to stage 8. The the penultimate stages belong to the Pyrenees and we’ll be following the peloton as they make their way up the gruelling and iconic Tourmalet for the epic Summit finish.  

Our Tour de Femmes adventure will take you on an immersive holiday through the thick of the French Pyrenees. Witness the excitement of the pros relentlessly battle up epic mountain passes in a final bid to chase Maillot Jaune honours. See the race LIVE from exclusive hospitality locations along the way that will have you as close to the race as is possible. Witness the magic 2 x stage finishes, ride along the race route, experience the excitement of a Stage start and round things out by watching the final time trial with exclusive access to VIP hospitality and the final battle for victory. Along the way, you will tackle legendary climbs by bike and indulge in amazing food & wine!

Welcome!

This morning, the Mummu team will meet you at Toulouse airport or train station airport before transferring you to our hotel in Toulouse city centre. 

On arrival, check-in and take some time to settle before meeting the Mummu staff in our allocated bike room who will give a short welcome brief and then assist with fitting and assembling bikes ahead of this afternoon’s warm-up spin.

Afterwards, grab a spot of lunch and explore our surrounds before regrouping ready to ride! Today’s ride will be led by our expert guides and will be all about spinning the legs out post travel and preparing for some bigger days through the Pyrenees to come.

On arrival back to the hotel, enjoy some time to relax and unwind before meeting for this evening’s group welcome dinner, providing a great chance to get to know one another and toast to what we are sure will be a memorable week taking in the best of the Le Tour de France Femmes!

This morning, the Mummu team will meet you at Toulouse airport or train station airport before transferring you to our hotel in Toulouse city centre. 

On arrival, check-in and take some time to settle before meeting the Mummu staff in our allocated bike room who will give a short welcome brief.

This afternoon will be yours to take at leisure. Grab a spot of lunch and explore our surrounds and take in the beautiful city of Toulouse. 

On arrival back to the hotel, enjoy some time to relax and unwind before meeting for this evening’s group welcome dinner, providing a great chance to get to know one another and toast to what we are sure will be a memorable week taking in the best of the Le Tour de France Femmes!

Day 2

Watch the finish of stage 5 LIVE!

July 27, 2023 / Difficulty
/ Distance 2 hours

After a relaxing and nutritious breakfast at the hotel, we will have a short transfer to Najac to the start of our ride. Today you will be riding the last 40kms of the TDFF stage 5 race course which will include three climbs; Côte de Najac, Côte de Laguépie,Côte de Monestiés.

Following a transfer to our ride starting point in Najac along the Stage route, you will be guided along the final phase of the course into the climb. All rides will be supported by our ride guides and follow vehicles, so assistance will never be far out of sight! The first climb you will tackle is Côte de Najac which is 2.1km in length with a solid  7.4% average gradient. Next up we have Côte de Laguépie which is shorter at 1.5km long, but a very spicy average gradient of 9%. Lastly you will climb Côte de Monestiés which is 1.6km at 6.4% avergage gradient. The ride will finish with a downhill and then flat run-in to Albi. Soak up the Atmosphere along the course as the TDFF fans will be out in full force!

Once we have reached Albi, you will be have a chance to freshen, there will be time to change and freshen up before settling in for an afternoon in the Mummu roadside marquee for a picnic lunch and refreshments. It wont be long until the race caravan will come through, shortly followed by the Pro Women’s Peloton as they come in HOT for the finish of stage 5! Do you pick today as a bunch sprint day or a breakaway day? You will be right there at the finish to see for yourself and marvel at the speeds and skills of the best female cyclist in the world!

Following a thrilling stage 5 battle, we will transfer back to Toulouse. The evening will be at your leisure to explore our surrounds or relax.

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast at the hotel this morning and a delicious French pastry or two. The morning your to explore around the city of Toulouse – soak in the history and the beautiful sights. Early afternoon we will then transfer you to the Albi to sit back and relax in our special roadside Mummu picnic lunch.

As the atmosphere continues to build, you’ll soon see the race caravan approach shortly followed by the Pro Women’s Peloton as they come in HOT for the finish of stage 5! Do you pick today as a bunch sprint day or a breakaway day? You will be right there at the finish to see for yourself and marvel at the speeds and skills of the best female cyclist in the world!

Following a thrilling stage 5 battle, we will transfer back to Toulouse. The evening will be at your leisure to explore our surrounds or relax.

Watch the Stage 6 Finish LIVE from VIP TDFF Hospitality

Stage 6 of the TDFF and it’s going to be an epic one for us!

This morning we will have an early breakfast before todays ride. Today we will be riding the last 30kms of todays stage to Côte de la Gayre.

Afterwards, there will be time to shower, change and freshen up back at the hotel. Here you will also need to have your bags packed and ready to hand over to your Mummu guides as we will be transferring you to a  new hotel tonight. Once freshed up, we will have a short transfer to the finish line of stage 6 before settling in for an afternoon in Tour de France VIP Izoard Finish Line Hospitality!

Stage 6 for the pro’s consists of a 122km flat route will include four ascents; Côte de La Cadène (2.5km at 4.5%), Côte de Puycelsi (1.8km at 6%), Côte du Clos Pourtié (2.6km at 4.8%) and Côte de la Gayre (1km at 4.9%) before a fat finish into Blagnac. 

TDFF hospitality is an exclusive hospitality experience, offering a real day of ‘VIP treatment’ that will have you perched in the best vantage point, all while watching the Stage 6 action from big screen entertainment, amidst some star-studded company, in the form of past Tour de France contenders. Enjoy drinks and canapés all afternoon while we soak up the action of the stage.

As the atmosphere continues to build, you’ll soon see the peloton blitz in for the finish of stage 6. You will be there right in the thick of it cheering on your favourite riders live, as they fly past within arm’s reach!

Following what we expect will be a jaw dropping sprint finish, we will transfer to Lourdes to our new destination! After unpacking and putting your feet up, this evening we will have a group dinner to cheers to a great day.

This morning enjoy a sleep in before a walking tour around beautiful Toulouse. This tour will take you through the streets of old town Toulouse to learn about the city’s history and the characters that shaped it as enjoying sights like Toulouse Cathedral, the Museum of Augustins, and the Hôtel d’Assézats palace. 

Afterwards, there will be time to shower, change and freshen up back at the hotel. Here you will also need to have your bags packed and ready to hand over to your Mummu guides as we will be transferring you to a  new hotel tonight. Once freshed up, we will have a short transfer to the finish line of stage 6 before settling in for an afternoon in Tour de France VIP Izoard Finish Line Hospitality!

Tourmalet EPIC summit finish LIVE from VIP Hospitality!

Today is going to be a day for the memory books! The penultimate Stage 7 – the queen stage of the Tour de France Femmes with a summit finish at the iconic Tourmalet. The 90km route will begin in Lannemezan and tackle the Côte d’Aspin (12km at 6.5%) first before the final ascent to the Col du Tourmalet (17km at 7.3%), marking the most decisive stage of the event.

This morning, following a big breakfast and coffee to fuel your body we will transfer to the start of our ride. Today we will be riding the Tourmalet, just a mere moment before the pro’s themselves! This will be an incredible experience, enjoy every moment as the excited TDF fans cheer you on as you ride up the famous and grand Col. Take your time to soak in the atmosphere and take photos as this is truly a once in lifetime occasion! 

Once at the top there will be a chance to get that iconic mountain top photo opportunity! It will then be time freshen up before spending the afternoon in the TDFF VIP finish line hospitality. It wont be long before one by one the pro women make there way to the summit finish at unimaginable climbing speeds – you will be within an arms reach to witness the stage 7 GC battle LIVE! 

After some exciting race viewing, and an afternoon in VIP hospitality we will transfer back to Lourdes for a chance to put your feet up and relax. 

This evening, dinner will be yours to enjoy at leisure. We highly recommend checking out the Grotto this evening at 9pm to see the masses at the nightly procession. Every evening, once night has fallen on the town, thousands of pilgrims gather to walk and sing, flaming torch in hand, from the Grotto of Apparitions to the esplanade of the Rosary Basilica.

This morning, following breakfast and checkout we will transfer to the start of stage 18

This morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will transfer to Pau to watch the final stage 8 time trial and see who will be crowned winner of the 2023 Tour de France Femmes! 

Once we are arrive to Pau we will have a look around the team bus area. This is a chance to get close to the riders and watch as they warm up. If you are lucky you might even get the chance to talk to a few riders and get some signatures!

Today you will get the chance to watch all of the time trial, from start to finish in VIP hospitality.

As the atmosphere continues to build, you’ll soon see the riders blitz by one by one and unreal speeds to the very best cutting edge aerodynamic equipment. You’ll be right in the thick of it cheering on your favourite riders live, as they fly past within arm’s reach!

Following what we expect will be a amazing day at the finish of the 2023 TDFF, we will transfer back to the hotel. This evening we will have a group dinner to share stories and memories and cheers to a great week!
